TSHC – Video Conferencing System

All the Hon’ble Judges of High Court are participating in full court meetings through Video Conference in regular intervals and monitoring the administrative issues in the High Court as well as Subordinate Courts.

Virtual Court Case Hearing through Video Conferencing Application:

Telangana High Court has made all the benches operational/functional through video conference using Cisco WebEx Meeting software. The Room Id’s are being sent to the Advocates and concerned, through SMS daily. The daily causelist has been tweaked in such a way that it can accommodate the mobile numbers of the Advocates for the use of staff controlling the Video Conferencing Sessions. The case bundles of the cases coming up for hearing on any particular day are being scanned and a copy of the same is circulated to the Hon’ble Judges.

Video Conferencing System usage at District and Subordinate Courts:

CISCO WebEx meeting accounts have also been provided to all the Districts in the State for conducting the virtual Courts in the Subordinate Courts.

Virtual Trainings to the Judicial Officers/Staff:

Telangana State Judicial Academy is also provided with CISCO WebEx meeting account through which the State Judicial Academy and the former Hon’ble Judges are conducting Virtual training/Classes for the trainee Judicial Officers on regular basis.

Setting Up Control Room For Advocates:

In order to facilitate Advocates who do not have access to virtual courts conducted by the High Court from their respective home offices, the High Court has set- up few control rooms at the High Court for the State of Telangana and couple more were established at the Telangana State Judicial Academy, Secunderabad for the smooth functioning of the Virtual Courts. The advocates/Parties in person are also optimally using the said facility.

Mobile Video Conference Facility for Advocates at The District Head Quarters:

Mobile Video Conference facilities to the Advocates lacking technical know-how and internet connectivity, with a theme of “Access to Justice at Door Step” were setup at the District Courts with the help of the District Collectors, initially it was introduced in the District of Warangal as a Pilot Project. The mobile van visits the remote places in the district heqd quarter, so that advocates residing in that vicinity can make use of the mobile video conference facility and address the virtual courts.

These mobile vans were digitally inaugurated by Hon’ble the Chief Justice and the Administrative Judges of respective District. Hon’ble Judges of the High Court graced these occasions through digital platform.

Video conferencing linkage between Spl. Sub Jails and Court Complexes:

By 29 th February, 2016, Video conferencing linkage between Spl. Sub Jails and Court Complexes was completed. This effectively minimizes physical production of the accused before the Court.
