Inauguration of Virtual Court at Chennai

The Virtual Court to adjudicate online petty offences and traffic challan cases under Madras High court was inaugurated by the Chairperson, eCommittee Justice Dr. D.Y. Chandrachud in an e-inaugural function. While inaugurating the Virtual courts the Justice Dr. D.Y. Chandrachud highlighted that traffic violator can now pay the fine without going to the court and also has the option to contest the case. The Chairperson also emphasised reduction in the workload of the Judicial Officers.
