    Scanning & Digitization Records of District Judiciary

    • The scanning & digitization work at District Courts started on 3rd October, 2018. Also, for digitization of District Court Records the rules has been framed and notified by the High Court.

      • Digitization of Records Rules, 2016 for District Courts of Madhya Pradesh dated 23rd June, 2017 RULES 
      • Digitization of Records Rules, 2016 (Amendments) for District Courts of Madhya Pradesh dated 16th November, 2018 AMENDMENTS RULES 
      • Digitization of Records Rules, 2016 (Amendments) for District Courts of Madhya Pradesh dated 1st March, 2019 AMENDMENTS RULES 
    • The contract regarding the scanning / digitization of record of remaining District and Tehsil Courts has been executed by the High Court and work of digitization project has been started.

    • The digitization of Court records of District Judiciary has been initiated in phased as per details given below:-
      Phase-1– Indore, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Gwalior, Chhindwara, Damoh, Katni, Rajgarh, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, Ujjain, Umaria Tehsil Court, Khachrod of District Ujjain.
      Phase-2– Ratlam, Datia, Shivpuri, Sidhi, Shajapur, Mandleshwar, Mandla, Chhatarpur, Panna, Raisen, Tehsil Mhow.
      Phase-3– Bhind, Morena, Guna, Sehore, Burhanpur, Jhabua, Khandwa, Tikamgarh, Dewas, Mandsaur and Alirajpur.

    • Digitization of approximately 14 Crore pages has been completed at above 34 Districts and in remaining District and Tehsil Courts the project is under progress.

    • Approximately 5.67 lakh files and 4.8 Crore pages has been scanned from the period of 1st January, 2020 to 31st August, 2020.

    • Approximately 2.26 lakh files and 1.91 Crore pages has been scanned from the period of 1st September, 2020 to 31st October, 2020.

    • Approximately 1.19 Lakh files and 98.76 Lakh pages have been scanned in October, 2020.
