    Scanning & Digitization Records of District Judiciary

     

    • For digitization of District Court Records The “District Courts of Madhya Pradesh Digitization of Records Rules, 2016” rules has been framed in the year 2016 and notified on 23rd June, 2017 and further amendment was made on 16th November, 2018 and 01st March, 2019 in order to meet out the requirement of the District Courts regarding digitization.

    • The contract regarding the scanning / digitization of records of District and Tehsil Courts has been executed by the High Court on 03rd October, 2018 and work of digitization project is under full swing.

    • The digitization of Court records of District Judiciary has been start in phases as per details given below:-
      Phase-1– Indore, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Gwalior, Chhindwara, Damoh, Katni, Rajgarh, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, Ujjain, Umaria, Tehsil Court Khachrod & Nagda of District Ujjain.
      Phase-2– Ratlam, Datia, Shivpuri, Sidhi, Shajapur, Mandleshwar, Mandla, Chhatarpur, Panna, Raisen, Tehsil Mhow of District Indore.
      Phase-3– Bhind, Morena, Guna, Sehore, Burhanpur, Jhabua, Khandwa, Tikamgarh, Dewas, Mandsaur, Alirajpur, Hoshangabad, Anuppur, Balaghat, Betul, Dhar, Harda, Neemuch, Seoni, Sheopur and Tehsil Court Khurai of District Sagar, Narsinghpur, Tehsil Court Khargone of District Mandleshwar, Tehsil Court Deori of District Sagar, Ashoknagar, Barwani, Shahdol.

    • Digitization of Approximately 41.85 Crore pages (41,85,68,160) has been completed at 53 location as mentioned above (47 Districts and 06 Tehsil Courts) till 31st December, 2022 and at District Courts of Dindori, Singrauli & Vidisha the project is to be started very shortly.

    • Digitization of approximately 12.74 Lakh files (12,74,731) comprising of 9.70 core pages (9,70,17,185) has been scanned from the period of 01st January, 2022 to 31st December, 2022.

    • Near about 69.76% of disposed of records has been scanned at District Courts in the State of Madhya Pradesh as on 31st December, 2022.
