eSewa Kendra

eSewa Kendra is set up at High Court and at one District Court i.e Shillong as a pilot location which will function as a one stop centre for accessing all eCourts project related services and utilities for the benefit of the litigants and members of the Bar. For extension of the eCourts services to villages, the services of the PLVs and Legal Aid Counsel are being utilized and the CSC’s in the village level are involved since infrastructure is already in place. Meghalaya State Judicial Academy conducted training on 3rd October 2020 (using webcast facility webinar) on the use of eCourts Services, CIS etc to the Para Legal Volunteers and Legal Aid Counsel (526) so that the eCourts services are also accessible to villagers. The District Judges of all Districts are nominated as the Nodal officer for the purpose of setting up eSewa Kendra in the other remaining Districts. Central Project Coordinator is Nodal Officer for eSewa Kendra from the registry.
